Polite staff, friendly check-in and lovely bar. The location was ideal in a great area, near both old town, the Grassmarket. Decent place for holidays.

Staff and location were fantastic, we loved that everything was good. Our room had an exceptionally comfortable bed and a good view. The restaurant onsite was really nice, it served excellent dishes.

Overall exceptionally clean property, it had great location and staff. The beds were best, I slept well. Situated in a fantastic area. Besides, an official residence was 2 km away from the venue...

Sadly, but there was hair in some areas.

The location and staff were perfect, we liked this iconic hotel. Everything was very good during our stay but disappointing aspect was tired bathroom. It was set in a lovely area. Also, a combined museum was only 1 km away. The restaurant was large, it had savoury meals.

Well, the views were not very good here.

Extremely helpful staff, huge room, in general I truly enjoyed this beautifully kept hotel. Reasonable breakfast with plenty of good food. Comfortable beds, a mini-bar, central heating and an iron were a nice touch.
